SiMPore's CytoVu® 3 Micro membranes are just 0.1 µm thick with regularly spaced 3.0 micron pores. These membranes feature NanoBarrier™ Technology. This added layer creates a physical barrier that maintains permeability through an extensive network of small 50 nm pores. It keeps apical and basal cells physically separate but allows molecules and proteins to cross to keep cells physiologically communicating. Ideal for cellular co-culture, polarized cell growth, and intercellular communication assays.
